It is not like we were trying to sneak food in to not have to purchase venue food we came with our bellies full and had every intention on finishing what we couldn’t finish at the restaurant upon our return from the show. DO NOT visit a restaurant BEFORE your event if you’re a person who leaves with leftovers!! Our dinner was $400 at a Steak House and we were forced to throw our leftovers in the trash! That is UNACCEPTABLE! We went to dinner, took an Uber to Boardwalk Hall and was met with unprofessional venue staff screaming, “ABSOLUTELY NO WATER, NO FOOD, NO UMBRELLAS ALLOWED”!!!!! One lady told us to, “go put it in the car.” Really?!! What car if we just got out of an Uber?!! Our leftovers were nicely packed and secured in the restaurant’s to go containers AND placed into a bag with the restaurant’s name clearly printed on the front.
If I could give ZERO stars, I would!! Stated under Restaurants in Plan Your Visit, “Visit some of the finest local restaurants in town before or after an event”.
